Chapter Description

Chapter 6, Teacher Educators Queer Their Practice, tells the story of a large urban teacher education faculty that developed an LGBTQ task force to lead an organized effort to implement program policy change and transformational practices. This chapter equips readers with the knowledge and dispositions to lead colleagues in teacher preparation programs to better prepare teacher candidates to address LGBTQ issues in K-12 school communities.
